Regulatory Reporting
We are looking for a meticulous Regulatory Reporting specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Morristown, New Jersey. This role is within the insurance industry and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reporting tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be skilled at handling compliance-related assignments and ensuring accurate data analysis and documentation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Retrieve and analyze feedback reports from organizational and independent bureau systems, compiling findings into an Excel spreadsheet based on established templates.<br>• Conduct detailed analysis of assignments and coordinate resolution efforts, ensuring proper review and correction by underwriters or underwriting assistants.<br>• Update state report cards with transmission details, including on-time and late reporting of transactions, and ensure accuracy in documentation.<br>• Execute scripts to enhance report cards with additional data, such as policy expiration dates, broker names, program details, and underwriter information.<br>• Perform analysis using Premiere to identify reasons for late policy issuance, categorizing causes based on predefined criteria.<br>• Consolidate quarterly error reports into a master sheet, analyzing newly reported errors and determining whether closed errors require reopening based on updated information.<br>• Access internal systems to correct errors, such as vehicle identification numbers, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.<br>• Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of reporting issues and maintain accurate records of assignments and corrections.<br>• Monitor and maintain data integrity across all reporting platforms, proactively identifying areas for improvement.<br>• Support the preparation of regulatory documents and ensure adherence to industry compliance requirements.
<p>• Proven experience in regulatory reporting or a similar analytical role within the insurance industry.</p><p>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and must know SQL. </p><p>• Ability to perform detailed analysis and resolve compliance-related issues effectively.</p><p>• Familiarity with internal and independent bureau systems for retrieving and analyzing reports.</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</p><p>• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate assignments and corrections.</p><p>• Knowledge of compliance standards and reporting protocols within the insurance sector.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</p><p><strong> </strong></p>
