<p>A rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the general accounting and monthly close process for a large plant operation. This role will manage day-to-day accounting activities, lead the close process, and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff while helping build scalable processes. <p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required</li><li>5+ years of hands-on general accounting and monthly close experience</li><li>Proven experience owning the close process for a mid-sized company ($50M+ revenue preferred)</li><li>Prior experience managing or leading accounting staff (AP/AR or general accounting)</li><li>Strong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support</li><li>ERP experience required (Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar preferred)</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience</p><ul><li>Manufacturing or operations-driven environment strongly preferred</li><li>Multi-entity or multi-site experience</li><li>CPA or CMA a plus (not required)</li><li>Experience building or improving accounting processes and controls</li><li>Background in high-growth or acquisition-heavy organizations</li></ul><p>This is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on leadership, process improvement, and working closely with operations in a growing manufacturing environment.</p><p>For immediate consideration, apply now or contact Bryan Rushing with Robert Half, Birmingham AL.</p>
