Project Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Monterey, California. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization by supporting daily project operations and ensuring smooth execution of tasks. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, a focused demeanor, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Sell tickets and process transactions using a designated ticketing system after receiving thorough training.<br>• Handle credit card payments exclusively in a cashless environment.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a composed demeanor when interacting with guests.<br>• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting for all ticket sales.<br>• Adhere to business casual dress code and uphold the organization's standards of professionalism.<br>• Coordinate with onsite staff to manage schedules and breaks effectively.<br>• Assist with parking arrangements and shuttle services for mid and night shifts.<br>• Support operational activities by scanning documents and managing timelines.<br>• Collaborate with team members to maintain master scheduling and project plans.<br>• Utilize Office tools to organize and track project information effectively.
• Comfortable working on a computer and learning new software systems.<br>• Strong organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Excellent customer service abilities and a detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Ability to manage timelines and track project progress.<br>• Experience in scanning, record-keeping, or administrative tasks.<br>• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including mid and night shifts.<br>• Previous experience in project management or related fields is a plus but not required.
