Project Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team in Monterey, California. This role is a Contract position within the non-profit industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while developing valuable skills. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and organizational abilities, with the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist in managing project timelines and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.<br>• Perform ticket sales operations using a dedicated ticketing system, handling credit card payments exclusively.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and maintain a detail-oriented demeanor at all times.<br>• Support event staff coordination by managing schedules and ensuring smooth operations.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track progress and update project documentation.<br>• Facilitate communication between team members and supervisors to address any operational needs.<br>• Ensure adherence to business casual dress code and workplace standards.<br>• Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with systems and procedures.<br>• Monitor and organize project-related materials to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage timelines and coordinate schedules effectively.<br>• Familiarity with project management practices and tools.<br>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Comfortable working on computers and learning new systems.<br>• Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented approach.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<br>• Attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Willingness to adhere to company policies and dress code standards.
