Project Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join a non-profit organization in Monterey, California. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in supporting event operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a courteous demeanor, and be comfortable working with computer systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Sell tickets at the box office using a ticketing system, ensuring accurate transactions and excellent customer service.<br>• Handle cashless payments exclusively, managing credit card transactions efficiently.<br>• Participate in training sessions to become proficient in the organization's ticketing system.<br>• Maintain a courteous and welcoming demeanor while interacting with event attendees.<br>• Adhere to business casual dress code and uphold the organization's standards of conduct.<br>• Coordinate with onsite teams to ensure smooth operations during events.<br>• Follow provided schedules and take designated breaks during shifts.<br>• Utilize parking passes and shuttle services as assigned for shift logistics.<br>• Collaborate with other staff members to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.<br>• Support the organization in meeting project deadlines and ensuring event success.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.<br>• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines effectively.<br>• Basic understanding of project management principles.<br>• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office for administrative tasks.<br>• Excellent customer service skills and a detail-oriented approach.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Previous experience in event support or administrative roles is a plus.<br>• Comfortable handling credit card transactions and working in a cashless environment.
