<p>Robert Half is actively recruiting for an Senior Accountant/ Consultant for a Consumer services client for a 6 months+ contract role. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the month end, year end and quarterly close, prepare and post journal entries in accounting system and support annual year end audit. This role will be located onsite/ hybrid in Montebello, CA. </p><p>Skills: </p><p>-Support Monthly, quarterly and year end close</p><p>-Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations</p><p>-Prepare and submit borrowing base certificates for asset-based lending compliance</p><p>-Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</p><p>-Assist with audits, tax filings, and internal control documentation</p><p>-SAGE 100</p><p>-BBC loans experience ( great to have) </p>

• Proven expertise in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.<br>• Experience with account reconciliations and bank reconciliation processes.<br>• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.<br>• Ability to manage compliance with asset-based lending regulations.<br>• Background in audit support and internal control documentation.<br>• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools.<br>• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
