Buyer
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity where you will play a key role in managing purchasing activities and supporting supply chain operations. The role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments and can work independently to address challenges effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage procurement processes, including creating and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.<br>• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.<br>• Maintain accurate records in purchasing systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.<br>• Support manufacturing operations by coordinating with the production floor to identify and address supply chain needs.<br>• Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, late deliveries, or supplier performance.<br>• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.<br>• Analyze purchasing trends and provide insights for cost-saving opportunities.<br>• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.<br>• Partner with internal teams to streamline supply chain processes and improve overall operations.<br>• Assist in cleaning up and organizing purchasing documentation and systems.
• Proven experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.<br>• Proficiency in using purchasing and supply chain management software such as IBM AS/400.<br>• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, including McKesson and AHLTA, is advantageous.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve procurement issues.<br>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills when working with suppliers and internal teams.<br>• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.<br>• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.<br>• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
