We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to support biomanufacturing programs by creating clear, precise, and government-compliant documentation. This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time while contributing to impactful projects that shape national priorities. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the role involves translating complex technical information into accessible reports tailored for federal and state agencies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop well-structured and accurate reports, white papers, and executive summaries specific to biomanufacturing initiatives.<br>• Collaborate with subject matter experts and program staff to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project objectives.<br>• Adhere to government reporting standards and submission formats while maintaining consistent tone and terminology.<br>• Edit and refine documentation for clarity, grammar, and compliance with agency style guides.<br>• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and government reviewers to produce high-quality deliverables.<br>• Manage multiple small-scale assignments within established timeframes and budgets.<br>• Ensure all written materials meet submission and formatting requirements specific to government agencies.<br>• Translate complex scientific and operational concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.<br>• Maintain exceptional quality across all deliverables while working independently.

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, particularly with government or research-driven projects.<br>• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear and concise written materials.<br>• Familiarity with public-sector reporting standards and compliance documentation.<br>• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail.<br>• Organizational skills to manage deadlines and priorities in a part-time, project-based role.<br>• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.<br>• Background in biomanufacturing, biotechnology, or related fields is highly desirable.<br>• Experience engaging with federal or state agencies or producing government-funded reports is a plus.
