Admissions Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Admissions Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting admissions and records operations within the higher education sector. The position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to applicants, learners, and internal stakeholders.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Ensure daily and weekly production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.<br>• Gain comprehensive knowledge of key workflows across the department and participate in cross-training opportunities.<br>• Address escalations and resolve individual applicant and learner issues, identifying and responding to broader systemic challenges.<br>• Collaborate with various teams, including Enrollment Services, Advising, and the Registrar’s Office, to improve processes and resolve issues.<br>• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cycle times and optimizing overall experiences for applicants and learners.<br>• Conduct quality assurance activities to identify process defects and improve performance metrics.<br>• Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge management systems and documentation to support team operations.<br>• Provide training and mentorship as a subject matter expert to enhance team capabilities.<br>• Engage in development activities focused on leadership, operations management, and communication skills.
• Minimum of nine months of experience in higher education or admissions and records operations.<br>• At least one year of customer service experience is required.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and data entry systems.<br>• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and think critically to solve problems.<br>• Experience with administrative assistance and document management systems.<br>• Familiarity with Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies or project management is preferred.<br>• Positive attitude and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Associate degree or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail is required.
