Admissions Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Admissions Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the admissions and records operations of a higher education institution. This is a long-term contract position that requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a positive approach to change.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of production tasks, meeting daily and weekly departmental goals.<br>• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of key workflows and processes within the department.<br>• Cross-train on workflows outside your primary area to provide support across multiple functions.<br>• Address escalated issues and resolve applicant or learner concerns while contributing to systematic improvements.<br>• Provide training and act as a subject matter expert for staff, collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance processes.<br>• Partner with various departments to identify and implement process improvements that optimize the learner and staff experience.<br>• Participate in quality assurance activities to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall performance.<br>• Maintain accurate knowledge management systems and documentation to support departmental operations.<br>• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing inefficiencies and improving cycle times.<br>• Engage in development activities to build skills in leadership, operations management, and problem-solving.
• Minimum of nine months of experience in higher education or admissions and records operations.<br>• At least one year of customer service experience.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other document management tools.<br>• Strong skills in communication, data entry, and critical thinking.<br>• Experience with data analysis and project management.<br>• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic environment.<br>• Positive attitude and openness to learning new processes and systems.<br>• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
