Accounts Receivable Representative: II (Intermediate)
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in maintaining efficient financial operations by ensuring accurate processing of invoices and resolving discrepancies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a detail-oriented and collaborative work environment while utilizing your accounting expertise.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle inbound customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies with efficiency.<br>• Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, including check processing and overdraft management.<br>• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts to ensure accurate financial records.<br>• Utilize software programs and Microsoft Office tools to maintain and update financial data.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to support workstation operations and accounting functions.<br>• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.<br>• Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing financial inquiries and issues.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial operations.<br>• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts receivable department.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles.<br>• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.<br>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites and other financial software programs.<br>• Familiarity with invoice processing, check handling, and resolving overdrafts.<br>• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.<br>• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.<br>• Ability to analyze and resolve account discrepancies effectively.<br>• Demonstrated computer skills and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
