Corporate Paralegal
<p>We are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Milford, Ohio. In this role, you will provide essential support to the General Counsel and assist with various legal tasks, particularly those related to contracts and litigation. This position is part-time and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment.</p><p>(This position is part-time)</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist with the preparation, review, and management of contracts and legal documents.</p><p>• Support discovery processes by organizing and analyzing relevant information.</p><p>• Coordinate civil litigation efforts, including trial preparation and case management.</p><p>• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate and accessible legal records.</p><p>• Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal standards.</p><p>• Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and corporate matters.</p><p>• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.</p><p>• Prepare reports and summaries to provide updates on case progress.</p><p>• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in handling sensitive information.</p>
• Proven experience in discovery and handling civil litigation processes.<br>• Familiarity with trial preparation and case management.<br>• Proficiency in using case management software.<br>• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and corporate legal practices.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders.<br>• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is preferred.
