<p><strong>Position Title: </strong>Material Coordinator</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Milan, IL</p><p><strong>Shift:</strong> 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Overtime Possible)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&#128204; Important:</strong></p><p>Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.</p><p>Metatarsal safety shoes required on day one.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>About the Opportunity</u></strong></p><p>Robert Half is partnering with a large, well-established manufacturing organization to hire a skilled Material Coordinator for their Milan, IL location. This role supports the largest department on 2nd shift within the Parts Distribution Center and contributes directly to the successful rollout of the new SAP/EWM system.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Direct and support pickers to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment.</li><li>Use warehouse management systems to track picking progress and update order statuses.</li><li>Quickly resolve issues involving missing items, damaged goods, or system errors.</li><li>Monitor productivity metrics, report results to supervisors, and recommend process improvements.</li><li>Operate within the organization’s mainframe/menu-driven systems, including DNS (Dealer Network System) and WCS, with occasional use of Excel.</li><li>Train as backup to support all duties within the department as needed. </li></ul>

<p><strong><u>Critical Skills & Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High-speed, accurate data entry with the ability to remain focused for extended periods.</li><li>Experience with inventory systems, AS400 programs, and warehouse tools is highly beneficial.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving inventory discrepancies.</li><li>Excellent attendance, attention to detail, and consistent timeliness.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills—this department includes 50+ employees who may need assistance simultaneously.</li><li>Self-motivated and willing to support team members during slower operational periods.</li></ul>
