We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide valuable insights to support business decisions. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities: • Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry standards. • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities. • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational performance. • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and compliance reviews, ensuring all requirements are met. • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced accounting staff and act as an expert on technical accounting matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant industry regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel skills. • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. • Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred but not mandatory.
