We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead and oversee the accounting operations of our organization in Midland, Texas. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at managing teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring accurate financial documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency and compliance within the accounting function.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely execution of financial tasks.<br>• Redesign and document accounting processes to optimize efficiency and maintain compliance.<br>• Oversee the preparation and management of financial reports and statements.<br>• Monitor and enforce deadlines for accounting projects and tasks to maintain operational flow.<br>• Evaluate and implement improvements in financial practices and procedures.<br>• Ensure proper control and organization of all financial documentation.<br>• Manage document scanning and compilation processes to maintain accurate records.<br>• Collaborate with leadership to provide strategic financial insights and decision-making support.<br>• Review and clean up existing accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br>• Establish clear guidelines and workflows for accounting operations and reporting.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.<br>• Proven expertise in document control and organization.<br>• Skilled in scanning and compiling financial documents.<br>• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes.<br>• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.<br>• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
