Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our accounting and administrative operations within the amusement and entertainment industry. This position offers a dynamic work environment where accuracy, organization, and collaboration are essential.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure timely payments and collections.<br>• Reconcile bank statements and review financial activities to maintain accuracy.<br>• Assist in payroll preparation and entry to support employee compensation processes.<br>• Prepare and manage accounting documents, maintaining detailed and organized records.<br>• Contribute to month-end closing activities and assist with financial reporting tasks.<br>• Oversee filing systems for invoices, contracts, and other essential records.<br>• Coordinate office supply orders and manage vendor relationships effectively.<br>• Schedule meetings and organize appointments for the team.<br>• Perform data entry, generate reports, and update databases to support accounting operations.<br>• Provide administrative support to both accounting and management teams, including HR-related tasks and onboarding assistance.
• Proficiency in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.<br>• Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing.<br>• Experience in reconciling bank statements and handling financial records.<br>• Knowledge of payroll preparation and accounting practices.<br>• Ability to manage filing systems and maintain organized records.<br>• Familiarity with generating reports and updating databases.<br>• Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate administrative tasks.<br>• Prior experience in supporting accounting or administrative functions is preferred.
