We are looking for a skilled Paralegal with a strong background in family law to join our team on a contract basis in Memphis, Tennessee. This role focuses on providing essential support in handling discovery processes, managing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with subpoenas. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced legal environment, we encourage you to apply. <br> Responsibilities: • Organize and review legal documents related to family law cases. • Handle the discovery process by gathering, analyzing, and preparing required information. • Ensure subpoena compliance by tracking document status and deadlines. • Manage the printing, scanning, and filing of critical legal paperwork. • Maintain accurate and updated records of case-related documents. • Collaborate with attorneys to provide support during case preparation. • Assist in organizing case files and ensuring all materials are easily accessible. • Communicate effectively with external parties regarding subpoenas and document retrieval. • Conduct research to support case strategies and legal proceedings. <br> The salary range for this position is $20 to $29/hr. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
