Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee key financial operations and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. This role requires a strong background in property accounting and a proven ability to lead and develop teams. Based in Memphis, Tennessee, the position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization. Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.• Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions.• Utilize Yardi property management software to streamline financial processes and reporting.• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and skill development.• Support commercial property management activities by providing accurate financial data and insights.• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Strong expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. • Proficiency in Yardi property management software is highly preferred. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. • Solid understanding of commercial property accounting principles and practices. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
