We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in McCall, Idaho. If you have a strong accounting background and enjoy working independently while collaborating with teams, this role is perfect for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.<br>• Conduct reconciliations for accounts such as bank statements, general ledgers, and balance sheets.<br>• Provide assistance with accounts payable and receivable functions as required.<br>• Generate financial reports and perform variance analysis to support decision-making.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain precise documentation.<br>• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline daily accounting operations.<br>• Support tax-related activities, including corporate tax returns and sales tax filings.<br>• Monitor and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Proven experience in corporate tax and sales tax processes.<br>• Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns.<br>• Strong ability to create and post journal entries.<br>• Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting.<br>• Familiarity with account reconciliations and month-end closing procedures.<br>• Excellent analytical skills for generating financial reports and conducting variance analysis.<br>• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with teams.<br>• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with accounting policies.
