<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient <strong>Document Controller</strong> to join our team on a contract basis in Massillon, Ohio. This pivotal role requires an individual skilled in managing supplier documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards, identifying risks, and effectively utilizing cloud-based systems.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Evaluate and review supplier-submitted documentation via an online portal to ensure compliance with established company guidelines.</li><li>Identify potential risks by analyzing and comparing documents for further team assessment.</li><li>Monitor and address gaps in supplier documentation approval processes, facilitating resolution within compliance systems.</li><li>Proactively communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and advance documentation toward compliance.</li><li>Leverage cloud-based tools, primarily Microsoft platforms, to efficiently manage and organize supplier documentation.</li><li>Maintain high standards of data integrity by keeping accurate records of document evaluations and approvals.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to provide compliance insights and updates, contributing to operational improvement efforts.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments related to documentation inconsistencies and propose actionable solutions for mitigation.</li><li>Streamline operations through document scanning, compilation, and proofreading activities.</li><li>Liaise with external vendors to ensure compliance with documentation protocols and standards.</li></ul>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control or a related role.<br>• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in cloud-based systems and Microsoft platforms.<br>• Demonstrated ability to analyze and flag risks within documentation.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.<br>• Experience with document scanning, compiling, and proofing.<br>• Ability to work effectively with external vendors to meet compliance requirements.<br>• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools for tracking and reporting purposes.<br>• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation.
