Network Architect
We are looking for a skilled Network Architect to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This Contract-to-permanent position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced network infrastructures that support enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Cisco technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure cloud networking, while ensuring seamless integration and high performance. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual prepared to lead and mentor within a collaborative environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and implement complex network architectures using Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless systems.<br>• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls to enhance security across internal and external network segments.<br>• Design and optimize Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, and cloud firewalls.<br>• Act as a subject matter expert for enterprise network architecture and cloud networking initiatives.<br>• Collaborate with IT and security teams to establish and maintain network policies and standards.<br>• Lead troubleshooting efforts during critical network incidents, ensuring timely resolutions and future prevention strategies.<br>• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to network engineers and other team members.<br>• Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports to maintain comprehensive records.<br>• Monitor and manage VPN tunnels, remote access systems, and site-to-site connections.<br>• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards through proactive network management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.<br>• Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless.<br>• Expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.<br>• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud networking components such as VNets and ExpressRoute.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams and departments.<br>• Familiarity with IT change management processes and frameworks.
