We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mahwah, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in managing domestic shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics and a proactive approach to problem-solving.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and monitor domestic shipments, ensuring efficient transportation from start to finish.<br>• Prepare and verify shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading for accuracy and compliance.<br>• Update and manage order information in the system, maintaining daily oversight of assigned accounts.<br>• Communicate effectively with carriers, brokers, and warehouses to address and resolve any shipping delays.<br>• Send Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) within designated timeframes to ensure smooth operations.<br>• Track orders proactively, address issues promptly, and escalate concerns about delayed or disrupted shipments.<br>• Process invoices for shipped orders in a timely manner to maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Verify pallet counts, truckload limits, and adherence to routing requirements for all shipments.<br>• Maintain open and clear communication with the sales team and management regarding order statuses and logistics updates.

• Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.<br>• Strong understanding of shipping functions, including documentation and compliance requirements.<br>• Familiarity with tracking systems and the ability to update and manage order information accurately.<br>• Excellent communication skills for liaising with carriers, brokers, and internal teams.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.<br>• Proficient in problem-solving and resolving shipment-related issues.<br>• Knowledge of pallet configurations, truckload capacities, and routing rules.<br>• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
