We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations for a manufacturing organization in Lubbock, Texas. This role requires expertise in managing accounting processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail while managing key financial functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<br>• Manage and monitor accounts payable to maintain vendor relationships and payment schedules.<br>• Supervise accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and collections.<br>• Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.<br>• Prepare detailed financial reports and statements for management review.<br>• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.<br>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic actions.<br>• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.<br>• Lead efforts to streamline accounting processes for improved efficiency.

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.<br>• Proven experience in managing the accounting close process.<br>• Expertise in reconciling bank statements with accuracy.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.<br>• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
