This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a company known for its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and strong workplace culture.</p><p><br></p><p>As the Plant Controller, you will serve as a key member of the site leadership team and play a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the facility. This position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with a strong background in cost accounting, operational finance, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p>For additional information and confidential consideration, please contact Kevin Sweet directly at 682-499-1182 or via email at [email protected] </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all plant-level accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.</li><li>Partner with operations leadership to drive cost efficiency, profitability, and process improvements.</li><li>Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and production performance metrics.</li><li>Lead the month-end and year-end close process for the plant and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and GAAP.</li><li>Maintain and improve internal controls and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Provide financial insights and recommendations to support capital investments and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Manage and develop a small team of plant accounting staff.</li><li>Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.</li><li>Prepare and present financial results and KPIs to senior leadership.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>• CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.</p><p>• 7 plus years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a financial management role in a manufacturing environment.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.</p><p>• Experience with fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and inventory management.</p><p>• Proficiency in month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.</p><p>• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.) and strong Excel skills.</p><p>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with both finance and operations.</p><p><br></p>
