We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Loveland, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. The successful candidate will handle a range of financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the construction industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts payable (AP) processes, including reviewing invoices and ensuring timely payments.<br>• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accurate billing and prompt collection of payments.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies.<br>• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.<br>• Assist in managing building permits and related financial documentation.<br>• Analyze financial data and provide reports to support business decisions.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.<br>• Monitor financial transactions to identify errors and implement corrective measures.<br>• Support audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.<br>• Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Familiarity with handling building permits and associated documentation.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills for team environments.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports.
