<p>We are looking for a dedicated Loan Closing Specialist to join a growing team in Louisville, Kentucky. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to daily operations, particularly within the loan closing process and related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a detail-oriented environment and play a vital role in supporting the Loan Office and management. The hours for the Loan Closing Specialist are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm onsite. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities of the Loan Closing Specialist:</p><p>• Prepare approved loans for the closing process and ensure proper documentation.</p><p>• Collaborate with title companies to review and clear title commitments.</p><p>• Collect and organize preliminary documentation for loan preparation.</p><p>• Evaluate appraisals to determine appropriate collateral and ensure proper securitization.</p><p>• Enter loan information accurately into the database.</p><p>• Track and collect post-closing documents.</p><p>• Coordinate funding, booking, and escrow setup for finalized loans.</p><p>• Finalize closed loans, files, and maintain organized records.</p><p>• Update and prepare detailed reports to support loan operations.</p>

<p>• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.</p><p>• Ability to interpret and adapt established practices and procedures to solve moderately complex problems.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and reporting.</p><p>• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents related to loan processing.</p><p>• Familiarity with consumer and commercial loans, including origination and review plus administration process.</p><p>• Microsoft Office knowledge</p><p>• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with attorneys, title companies, and internal teams.</p>
