Contract Attorney
We are looking for a highly skilled Contract Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves managing complex legal agreements, ensuring compliance, and contributing strategically to organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in contract law and demonstrate the ability to navigate diverse legal challenges, particularly in the healthcare sector.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor, supplier, employment, and licensing agreements.<br>• Conduct audits of existing client contracts to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.<br>• Develop and maintain regulatory and compliance documentation, including privacy policies and terms of use.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement contract strategies that align with business objectives.<br>• Provide legal guidance on procurement documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs).<br>• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of contracts by managing discovery processes and briefing motions as needed.<br>• Work closely with internal teams to address contract-related issues and offer strategic solutions.<br>• Facilitate contract renewals and modifications to meet evolving business needs.<br>• Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and partners to optimize organizational outcomes.<br>• Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes, particularly in healthcare law, to ensure compliance.
• Must be a licensed attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience.<br>• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.<br>• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly in the healthcare industry.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance detailed contract work with broader organizational goals.<br>• Familiarity with procurement processes, including RFPs and vendor negotiations.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.<br>• Background in healthcare law is highly desirable but not mandatory.
