We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses efficiently and accurately. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and tariffs while maintaining smooth inventory reconciliation and timely delivery schedules. As a part of our team based in Los Angeles, California, you will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to uphold operational excellence. This is a long-term contract position. Inbound Logistics, Freight & Tariffs<ul><li>Manage international and domestic freight bookings for inbound inventory, including ocean, air, and ground shipments</li><li>Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure compliant, timely shipments</li><li>Oversee tariff classification, duty rates, and country-of-origin data in partnership with customs brokers</li><li>Review and validate HTS codes, duty exposure, and estimated landed costs prior to shipment</li><li>Track shipments end-to-end and proactively resolve delays, customs holds, documentation issues, and exceptions</li><li>Maintain accurate shipment records including ETDs, ETAs, container details, duties, and landed cost inputs</li></ul>Purchase Orders & Receiving<ul><li>Manage purchase orders from issuance through final warehouse receipt</li><li>Confirm supplier readiness, production completion, and ship dates against purchase orders</li><li>Ensure inbound receipts align with purchase orders in quantity, SKU, and condition</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shortages, overages, damages, or timing variances</li></ul>3PL Inbound Operations<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL inbound logistics and receiving</li><li>Schedule inbound deliveries and monitor warehouse receiving performance</li><li>Verify accurate recording of inbound receipts in WMS and ERP systems</li><li>Escalate and resolve inbound issues including mis-receipts, delays, and system mismatches</li></ul>Inventory Reconciliation & Accuracy<ul><li>Reconcile inventory across supplier documentation, freight records, customs entries, 3PL receipts, and ERP systems</li><li>Investigate and resolve inventory variances, duty discrepancies, and landed cost adjustments</li><li>Support month-end inventory close processes, accruals, and reporting requirements</li><li>Maintain high inventory accuracy standards across all warehouse locations</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner with Finance on landed cost accuracy, tariff exposure, inventory valuation, and accruals</li><li>Work closely with customs brokers and freight partners to ensure compliance and cost optimization</li><li>Coordinate with Planning, Sales, and Brand teams to align delivery timing and inventory availability</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, customs, and inventory processes</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li>4–7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management</li><li>Hands-on experience with freight booking, purchase order management, and warehouse receiving</li><li>Working knowledge of tariffs, HTS classification, and landed cost components</li><li>Experience managing 3PLs, freight forwarders, and customs brokers</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in ERP and WMS platforms (NetSuite experience a plus)</li></ul>Success Measures<ul><li>On-time inbound delivery performance</li><li>Accuracy of purchase orders, receiving, and customs entries</li><li>Inventory variance resolution and landed cost accuracy</li><li>Clear tariff and duty visibility with minimal post-entry corrections</li><li>Effective communication and coordination with suppliers and logistics partners</li></ul>
