<p>A reputable civil litigation firm in West Los Angeles is seeking a <strong>Litigation Attorney</strong> to join their team on a <strong>contract-to-hire</strong> or <strong>long-term contract</strong> basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain meaningful courtroom experience and manage a robust caseload in a collaborative environment.</p><p><br></p><p>The firm handles a range of civil matters, with a focus on <strong>consumer, personal injury, and general civil litigation</strong>. This role offers hybrid flexibility (2–3 days onsite in West LA, remainder remote).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Represent clients in California state courts, including appearances for case management conferences, motion hearings, and settlement conferences.</li><li>Manage a litigation caseload from intake through trial or resolution.</li><li>Draft and argue motions, including discovery, dispositive, and pre-trial motions.</li><li>Conduct written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses.</li><li>Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on strategy and case development.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Active California Bar license (in good standing).</li><li><strong>2+ years of civil litigation experience</strong> (consumer law, PI, employment, or general liability preferred).</li><li>Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.</li><li>Ability to handle court appearances, manage deadlines, and work independently.</li><li>Familiarity with state court procedures (federal experience a plus).</li></ul>
