We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Verification Representative to join our dynamic team and support patients by identifying coverage options and reducing surprises related to billing. Responsibilities:As an Insurance Verification Representative, your key duties will include:<ul><li>Contacting insurance providers to verify patient eligibility, coverage, and benefits.</li><li>Completing detailed verification of copays, deductibles, co-insurance amounts, and out-of-pocket expenses.</li><li>Accurately entering and updating patient insurance information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or billing system.</li><li>Communicating insurance eligibility details with patients in an easy-to-understand, professional manner.</li><li>Providing guidance to patients regarding their financial obligations, including potential costs and payment plan options.</li><li>Collaborating directly with front office staff, billing teams, and clinical departments to ensure all insurance information is accurately documented prior to medical services being rendered.</li><li>Resolving discrepancies with insurance claims and quickly addressing any issues related to denied or rejected verifications.</li><li>Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws regarding patient confidentiality.</li></ul>

Qualifications:We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused professional with the following qualifications:<ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or coursework in medical billing, coding, or related fields is a plus.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or a similar role in healthcare administration preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with different types of insurance plans, such as private, government, and Medicare/Medicaid plans, is an advantage.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance requirements, and billing processes.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems and other medical billing software.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
