We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions that support critical operations and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud architecture, automation, and security best practices, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure for municipal systems. <br> Key Responsibilities Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources. Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for cloud-based applications. Collaborate with IT teams to migrate on-premises systems to cloud environments. Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization. Maintain compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly. Document architecture, processes, and configurations for future reference.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. <br> Preferred Skills Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud detail oriented. Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
