We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Liberty Lake, Washington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting a variety of accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting processes while collaborating with a dedicated team.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial documentation.<br>• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Conduct thorough account reconciliations, including inventory accounts.<br>• Review and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports.<br>• Perform reconciliations across various accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.<br>• Utilize major ERP systems to manage and analyze financial data effectively.<br>• Leverage Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial information.<br>• Assist in preparing financial statements and other key reports.<br>• Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet deadlines.

• Proven experience with journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.<br>• Strong understanding of account reconciliations, including inventory-related tasks.<br>• Proficiency in using major ERP systems to manage financial data.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.<br>• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.<br>• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
