We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team just outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of accounting, including general ledger, fixed assets, and tax-related responsibilities. Responsibilities:• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.• Perform account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to ensure accuracy.• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capital budgeting, asset lifecycle management, and disposition.• Handle treasury functions and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.• Manage sales and use tax filings as well as income and property tax compliance.• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any outstanding issues.• Collaborate with shared services to streamline accounting procedures and maintain efficiency.• Identify and address gaps in historical accounting methodologies to improve processes.• Provide support for audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems. • Strong understanding of general ledger functions and fixed asset accounting. • Experience with sales tax, use tax, and property tax compliance. • Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations and journal entries. • Knowledge of treasury functions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Detail-oriented approach with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
