Fixed Asset Manager
<p>We are looking for an experienced Fixed Asset Manager to join our team in Leominster, Massachusetts. In this contract role, you will oversee and optimize fixed asset processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset records. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and asset management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct a thorough evaluation of the organization's fixed asset system and related workflows.</p><p>• Identify unrecorded capital expenditures and ensure their inclusion in the fixed asset register.</p><p>• Reconcile and update asset records to maintain accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and verify supporting documentation.</p><p>• Utilize fixed asset tracking software, such as MRI Software, for reporting and inventory management.</p><p>• Propose enhancements to processes to improve the reliability of fixed asset management.</p><p>• Assist in preparing month-end and project-specific reports related to fixed assets.</p><p>• Compile schedules and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.</p><p>• Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen the fixed asset control environment.</p>
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.<br>• Extensive experience in managing and accounting for fixed assets.<br>• Demonstrated ability to review, reconcile, and optimize asset management systems.<br>• Familiarity with MRI Software or similar fixed asset tracking tools is preferred.<br>• Strong analytical and organizational skills to handle complex data.<br>• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and communicating results effectively.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
