Controller
<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead core accounting operations and provide reliable financial insight that supports business decisions across multiple facilities. This position plays a role in monthly reporting, cost analysis, compliance, and budget coordination while partnering closely with leadership to strengthen financial performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex data in a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Produce timely monthly internal financial reports and help ensure reporting accuracy across the organization.</p><p>• Direct cost accounting activities for multiple locations, investigate performance fluctuations, and recommend actions to improve operating results.</p><p>• Coordinate audit support by compiling schedules, records, and other documentation needed by external auditors and tax advisors.</p><p>• Oversee sales and use tax activities to help maintain compliance with applicable regulations.</p><p>• Review and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate.</p><p>• Evaluate accounting controls and contribute to the development of stronger processes and system-related procedures.</p><p>• Respond to leadership requests for financial reporting, modeling, and analysis that inform strategic and operational decisions.</p><p>• Partner with department leaders during the annual budgeting cycle to gather, organize, and consolidate key financial inputs.</p><p>• Manage accounting matters involving multi-site and multi-division transactions while collaborating with the management team to deliver meaningful financial insights.</p>
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.</p><p>• CPA or a comparable accounting credential is strongly preferred.</p><p>• Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</p><p>• Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently when needed.</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills, leadership capability, and close attention to detail.</p><p>• Prior experience in manufacturing accounting and/or public accounting</p>
