In this role, you will oversee critical audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to the financial transparency of non-profit organizations. Responsibilities:• Lead the planning and execution of financial statement audits for non-profit organizations, including risk assessments and audit procedures.• Review and evaluate financial data such as cash flow, liabilities, payroll, and other key areas to ensure compliance with accounting standards.• Provide guidance to audit teams on non-profit accounting principles and reporting requirements, including Form 990 compliance.• Communicate audit findings to stakeholders, including clients, senior managers, and partners, while preparing detailed audit reports.• Foster positive client relationships by addressing inquiries and providing thoughtful recommendations.• Stay informed about updates in regulatory standards and industry practices affecting non-profit organizations.• Utilize audit software tools to streamline engagements and enhance efficiency.• Mentor and supervise entry-level audit staff, promoting growth and teamwork.• Ensure adherence to ethical accounting practices and uphold the firm's standards in public accounting for non-profits.• Manage deadlines effectively while balancing multiple audit projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance• Minimum of two years of auditing experience, preferably in public accounting or non-profit organizations.• Proficiency with audit tools and software such as CaseWare or CCH ProSystem fx is advantageous.• Strong knowledge of GAAP and non-profit financial reporting requirements.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Familiarity with non-profit regulatory frameworks and compliance standards is a plus.Contact Sandi Nush 302-985-5234
