We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will oversee a team of professionals and ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable function. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes and managing large volumes of invoices. Responsibilities:• Lead and supervise a team of 8–10 accounts payable staff, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are achieved.• Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to address challenges and maintain workflow efficiency.• Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including invoice receipt, verification, and payment processing.• Identify areas for improvement within the accounts payable process and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.• Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of discrepancies.• Oversee the processing of utility bills to prevent service interruptions and ensure compliance with deadlines.• Partner with vendors, operations teams, and other departments to resolve invoice issues and allocate costs appropriately.• Handle large volumes of invoices while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.• Develop and implement strategies to improve time management and manage workloads effectively.• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the accounts payable function. • At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related supervisory role. • Proficiency in handling accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and managing check runs. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively. • Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and statement reconciliations. • Knowledge of business process improvement and continuous process enhancement strategies. • Ability to allocate costs accurately and work collaboratively with other departments. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in high-volume environments.
