Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for a skilled Attorney or Paralegal to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in LaBelle, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, personal injury cases, and pre-suit processes, with a proven ability to manage casework and assist in trial preparation. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional in-office visits as required.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and oversee civil litigation and personal injury cases, ensuring timely and effective case progression.<br>• Draft legal motions, briefs, and other critical documents with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Conduct and respond to discovery requests, ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines.<br>• Provide support during trial preparation, including organizing evidence and assisting with legal strategies.<br>• Collaborate with clients and team members to gather necessary information and maintain strong case documentation.<br>• Assist with pre-suit evaluations and processes to determine case viability and strategy.<br>• Prepare for and attend trials as needed, offering support to ensure smooth proceedings.<br>• Ensure all legal work aligns with applicable laws and ethical standards.
<p>• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation or personal injury law.</p><p>• Active attorney Florida license in good standing, or relevant paralegal certification.</p><p>• Proven ability to draft legal motions, briefs, and discovery documents.</p><p>• Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom procedures.</p><p>• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.</p><p>• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.</p><p>• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.</p><p>• Flexibility to work 20-25 hours per week, with occasional in-office visits.</p>
