Sr. Financial Analyst
<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning and Analyst to join our client's team on a contract basis in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and implementing financial models and tools to support salary adjustments, merit increases, and bonus projections for a leading manufacturing company. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve project goals effectively. This role has the potential to convert into a full-time role with our client. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop advanced financial models and tools in Microsoft Excel to calculate and project salary adjustments, merit increases, and bonuses for employees.</p><p>• Conduct thorough salary, merit, and bonus projections by analyzing historical compensation data and collaborating with HR to incorporate performance criteria.</p><p>• Lead testing phases to validate financial models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with finance, HR, and other stakeholders to align project deliverables with organizational goals.</p><p>• Perform variance analyses to identify gaps between projected and actual outcomes, providing actionable insights for future improvements.</p><p>• Create detailed reports and presentations summarizing financial projections, testing results, and recommendations for leadership.</p><p>• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the sustainability and fairness of merit and bonus structures.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with compensation policies and regulations, addressing financial risks related to budget allocations.</p><p>• Simulate various financial scenarios to assess the robustness of models and their impact on organizational priorities.</p><p>• Proactively identify and address roadblocks during project execution, offering solutions to keep timelines on track.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or FP& A roles.</p><p>• Expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions, including automated checks and validation mechanisms.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of variance analysis and financial projections.</p><p>• Familiarity with performance reviews, merit increases, and bonus structures.</p><p>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</p><p>• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and finance.</p><p>• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and salary structure analysis.</p><p>• Background in the trades or machinery industry is a plus.</p><p>ON-SITE work structure is in place. </p><p>For immediate consideration please contact: Kelly Fellows at 865-370-2219</p>
