Medical Receptionist
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis in Kingston, New York. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will encompass essential administrative and clerical tasks, supporting the smooth operation of the medical office.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist with check-in procedures.<br>• Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars efficiently.<br>• Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately.<br>• Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality.<br>• Process insurance documentation and verify patient eligibility.<br>• Provide support to medical staff by coordinating patient flow and preparing necessary paperwork.<br>• Assist with general clerical duties, including data entry and filing.<br>• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.<br>• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to resolve scheduling or administrative issues.
• Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.<br>• Proficiency in patient scheduling systems and software.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<br>• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Familiarity with handling insurance documentation and patient records.<br>• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.<br>• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
