Procurement Manager
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing activities for indirect spend categories. This role will focus on building strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-saving initiatives. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, the position serves as a key contributor to the company's procurement strategy while ensuring alignment with global directives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead sourcing efforts for indirect spend categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize procurement outcomes.<br>• Negotiate contracts that achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.<br>• Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance value across indirect procurement categories.<br>• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure continuous improvement.<br>• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities to key stakeholders.<br>• Ensure compliance with global procurement strategies and directives.<br>• Develop strategies to mitigate risks in supplier management and contract negotiations.<br>• Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to facilitate communication and alignment.
• Proven experience in corporate procurement, particularly in indirect procurement.<br>• Strong understanding of buying processes and procurement functions.<br>• Expertise in contract negotiations with a focus on achieving cost savings.<br>• Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.<br>• Familiarity with global procurement strategies and compliance requirements.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Analytical mindset to assess supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities.<br>• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
