Financial Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting corporate budgeting processes, performing financial analysis, and collaborating closely with executives to provide insights and drive decision-making. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and manage corporate budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Collaborate with business leaders and executives to analyze cost structures and provide actionable insights.<br>• Conduct detailed financial modeling to support forecasting and long-term strategic planning.<br>• Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data.<br>• Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports to support decision-making processes.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and improve efficiency.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze data and create meaningful visualizations.<br>• Support expense management efforts, including leveraging tools like Chrome River to streamline processes.<br>• Contribute to problem-solving initiatives by identifying gaps and proposing effective solutions.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and extract insights.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic, and interactive environment.<br>• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.<br>• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus, but not required.<br>• Experience with expense management systems (e.g., Chrome River) is advantageous.
