Project Controller, Sr
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Controller, Sr. to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. This long-term contract role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and project management within the construction and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach to managing financial operations and have a strong background in accounting and capital management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare comprehensive financial and operational reports for plant or site-level operations with minimal supervision.<br>• Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, consolidations, and accurate reporting across project entities.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while performing unitization activities and asset reporting.<br>• Forecast site financials and prepare quarterly tax provisions in a timely manner.<br>• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes by organizing and analyzing relevant financial data.<br>• Conduct variance analyses to evaluate actual results against projections, providing actionable insights.<br>• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models to support trend analysis and future performance projections.<br>• Track project costs meticulously and forecast expenditures to maintain budget compliance.<br>• Create and present detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.<br>• Support cost and schedule risk analysis, offering input for financial and operational decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.<br>• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.<br>• Experience in project cost tracking and variance analysis.<br>• Familiarity with accounting policies and practices applicable to large-scale projects.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br>• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
