<p>We are seeking a <strong>Low Voltage Technician</strong> to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including structured cabling, security, and communication infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in clean installs, strong documentation, and delivering reliable systems for customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Install, terminate, test, and label <strong>low voltage cabling</strong> (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber)</li><li>Install and support <strong>access control, CCTV, alarm, and AV systems</strong></li><li>Perform cable pathways (J-hooks, conduit, raceway) and rack builds</li><li>Troubleshoot connectivity issues using cable testers and diagnostic tools</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and end users on-site</li><li>Follow safety standards, building codes, and best practices</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>1+ years of experience in <strong>low voltage or structured cabling</strong></li><li>Experience terminating <strong>RJ45, patch panels, keystone jacks</strong></li><li>Familiarity with cable testing tools (Fluke, tone & probe, certifiers)</li><li>Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces</li><li>Strong attention to detail and cable management standards</li><li>Reliable transportation and basic hand tools</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>CCTV, access control, fire alarm, or AV systems</strong></li><li>Fiber termination and testing experience</li><li>BICSI, ETA, or manufacturer certifications</li><li>Experience working in commercial or enterprise environments</li><li>OSHA 10/30 certification</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods</li><li>Comfortable working in construction and occupied environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p><ul><li>Steady work with opportunities for overtime</li><li>Competitive pay and benefits</li><li>Clear career path and skill development</li><li>Supportive team and professional project management</li></ul><p><br></p>
