Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to assist with probate cases at our office in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a Contract position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a flexible schedule who can provide critical support in managing legal documentation, court filings, and client communications. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in probate law to collaborate with attorneys and other professionals effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and file petitions to initiate probate cases and ensure all legal documentation is accurate and complete.<br>• Assist in appointing executors and managing communications with clients, beneficiaries, court staff, and other involved parties.<br>• Maintain and organize case files, track important deadlines, and ensure timely follow-ups.<br>• Coordinate with financial advisors and other professionals to gather necessary information for probate cases.<br>• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and other materials as required by the attorney.<br>• Monitor bank account details and assist in the administration of estate funds.<br>• Provide support in probate litigation and estate administration processes.<br>• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to probate and estate administration.<br>• Act as a liaison between the attorney and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth case progression.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically handling probate and estate administration.<br>• Strong knowledge of probate law, including probate litigation and estate procedures.<br>• Proven ability to draft legal documents, correspondence, and petitions with attention to detail.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple case files and deadlines effectively.<br>• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, court personnel, and other parties.<br>• Proficiency in managing financial and bank-related information for estate administration.<br>• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.<br>• Familiarity with legal software and tools for document preparation and case management.
