Credit Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Jackson, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial records, analyzing accounts, and ensuring accurate cash applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the team's success while working on-site Monday through Friday.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough research of receivables to ensure accurate financial documentation and reconciliation.<br>• Manage and record expenses, ensuring timely payments to vendors.<br>• Investigate intercompany accounts to determine the appropriate allocation of funds.<br>• Utilize cash application expertise to resolve and correct misapplied transactions.<br>• Address backlog issues by streamlining processes and ensuring timely application of payments.<br>• Maintain and update records using QuickBooks and Excel.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.<br>• Identify and address discrepancies in financial data to maintain accuracy.<br>• Provide support in commercial credit collections, ensuring compliance with company policies.<br>• Analyze credit applications and provide recommendations based on financial data.
• Proven experience in credit analysis and commercial collections.<br>• Proficiency in cash application processes and reconciliation.<br>• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts.<br>• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.<br>• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.<br>• Previous experience in handling intercompany accounts is preferred.
