<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. This role focuses on managing core accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and tax-related tasks, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate tax and general ledger operations, along with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.</p><p>• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and sales tax documentation in compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Record and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial data.</p><p>• Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliation and reporting.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks Online to organize and manage accounting records effectively.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist with audits or tax-related inquiries.</p><p>• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.</p><p>• Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.</p><p>• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.</p>

<p>• Proven experience in corporate tax, including preparation and filing.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance.</p><p>• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.</p><p>• Solid understanding of general ledger operations and journal entries.</p><p>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p>
