We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. This position offers flexibility, requiring three days of work per week, with the opportunity to choose the specific days. As part of a non-profit organization, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records. • Verify and record financial transactions using QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Maintain organized and detailed documentation for all financial activities. • Handle account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial systems. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies or financial inquiries. • Input and update financial data with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis tasks.

• Proven experience with bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. • Skilled in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Familiarity with financial practices in non-profit organizations is a plus. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication abilities to collaborate with team members.
