We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to energy operations by supporting account managers and sales teams in areas such as propane contract administration, ethanol load matching, and project-related tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and have a commitment to improving processes and enhancing customer experiences.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and approve wholesale propane contracts, ensuring accurate setup in accounting, scheduling, and inventory systems.<br>• Collaborate with account managers to resolve contract disputes and maintain equitable solutions for customers.<br>• Monitor and update daily market prices in Excel, ensuring data accuracy for sales and logistics teams.<br>• Support the Renewable Fuels team in matching received ethanol loads within internal systems.<br>• Assist with marketing programs and the execution of energy-related projects.<br>• Troubleshoot and test systems such as JD Edwards to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Partner with logistics and accounting staff to ensure contracts are properly established, supporting seamless distribution operations.<br>• Contribute to process enhancements for refined fuels wholesale operations and propane teams.<br>• Provide administrative support for energy equipment projects and other team initiatives as needed.<br>• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with contract terms and operational procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.<br>• At least one year of experience working in a business environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.<br>• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of contract and data management processes.<br>• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
