<p>We are looking for an experienced and strategic VP/Director of Finance to join our clients team in Huntsville, Alabama. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to lead critical financial operations and ensure the organization's fiscal health. The ideal candidate will excel in managing budgets, overseeing financial reporting, and driving efficient processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop, implement, and manage annual budgets to align with organizational goals and objectives.</p><p>• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.</p><p>• Lead efforts to refine and maintain budget processes for improved financial planning and control.</p><p>• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.</p><p>• Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure the organization's liquidity and operational stability.</p><p>• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering collaboration and encouraging growth.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.</p><p>• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase operational efficiency.</p><p>• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organizational priorities.</p>

• Proven experience in financial leadership roles, such as VP or Director of Finance.<br>• Expertise in managing annual budgets and financial reporting processes.<br>• Strong understanding of month-end close procedures and accounting principles.<br>• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain cash flow forecasts.<br>• Proficiency in developing and optimizing budget processes.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.<br>• Effective communication and leadership capabilities.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
